Fabric mod downloads not showing in mod menu

Basically, whenever I put any mod(s) into the "mod" folder forge created, they do not appear in the game. It always says "One mod loaded." That mod is always forge. I added a picture of my main screen where it says "1 mod loaded" and of my mods list where only forge is there. I've been trying to get the litematica mod to work for the last couple hours and cant find any solution. There was a post around the same topic a couple months ago but the solution was for a different issue that isn't causing it to not work.
